In the market for an electric pickup that looks different? The Tesla Cybertruck isn’t your only option anymore.

Alpha Motor Corporation has just unveiled a new battery-powered truck called the Nightwolf. The vehicle is smaller than its peers and features a retro-style design that helps it stand out from the pack.

The Nightwolf is a limited-edition variant based on the upcoming Wolf. It features a sleek design that looks more like the compact pickups of the 1980s and ‘90s than the electrified behemoths of today. The EV comes with either a single- or dual-motor power train—the first delivers rear-wheel drive, the second all-wheel drive—that produces at least 285 hp, according to CarScoops. It’s far from the most powerful battery-powered option, but it can still shoot from zero to 60 mph in a respectable 6.2 seconds and has a range of more than 275 miles.

Alpha has outfitted the Nightwolf with high-performance off-roading gear to turn it into an overlanding rig. The truck comes outfitted with a new KC lighting package that includes seven-inch Gravity LED headlamps and auxiliary lights, a roof rack with two 83-liter Roam Adventure Co. cases to hold all your equipment, and a camper shell for anyone who wants to sleep in their vehicle at night. It also rides on 17-inch Black Rhino Atlas wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.

The most vital upgrade, though, is the solar-powered truck cap. The folding array of solar cells is directly connected to the truck’s battery and will provide an additional 15 to 20 miles daily in sunny weather. That may not sound like much, but it should give you the extra range needed to find a gas station in a pinch.

Alpha is taking reservations for the Nightwolf now. The company has yet to announce pricing for the EV, but you can expect it to cost more than the fully loaded versions of the two-seat Wolf and five-seat Wolf+. Those trucks come in at $46,000 and $56,000, respectively.
